Hi, I'm Shirin and I have been a professional photographer in New York City, New Jersey and the rest of the Tri-State area for over 15 years.

I specialize in humans. We are all an endless well of color and character and working with people gives me a life that suits me perfectly. No matter what genre I'm shooting, I focus on connecting to the people in front of my lens. I have spent many years passionately fine tuning my craft and expanding my expertise. The more I know, the more I can customize and personalize each and every photo session. I have had a glorious journey becoming the photographer that I am today, and I couldn't be more grateful!

Making my clients feel their absolute best and creating a nurturing and warm environment is my specialty. You will never have to worry about how to pose or what to do. I will expertly direct you organically and before you know it, you will have images that will show you at your best.

Some little things about me

I have been a make-up artist and stylist for 25 years and I've worked for Bobby Brown, Laura Mercier, Smashbox, countless weddings, fashion shows and photo shoots. I still do make-up for special situations for clients who have trusted their faces to me for years.

I have a Masters Degree In Theater with extensive experience as a director. I am a proud member of The  Actors Studio for over 20 years. 

I love animals more than I can explain and I have a husband who supports everything that I do. I daydream about having a coffee shop like "Central Perk" and I satisfy that urge by serving everything from espresso drinks to cold brewed coffee at my studio!
